  • Establish the existing and potential water demand for production purposes including but not limited to; domestic, agricultural, commercial and industrial.
  • Make a thorough assessment of the water resources potential in the selected areas.
  • Examine and evaluate the potential water sources identified and any other possible alternatives.
  • Identify the most appropriate technology option for developing existing water resources in order to meet water demand.
  • Undertake detailed design of the most appropriate water for production facilities for the three districts and produce detailed bills of quantities, design reports, drawings and tender documents.
  • Identify and assess optimal use of the proposed water for production facilities and its impact on production and productivity. Assess main production constraints and recommend appropriate interventions to ensure sustainability.

2014-2017 Min of Water & Environment Detailed Design and Reconstruction Supervision of Mabira Dam Mbarara district Mabira dam is an existing reservoir which was constructed way back in the 1940/50’s but first rehabilitated in 2003.

  • Design appropriate cost-effective water for production facility with structures for provision of water for Livestock watering, Irrigation and Domestic water uses.
  • Supervise and monitor the construction of the designed water for production facility to ensure efficiency and value of money.
  • Assist the Client in the Tendering process.
  • Develop a strategy for mobilizing and organising local authorities and user communities for post-construction operation and maintenance.

  • 5.2km Raw Water Gravity Main to Treatment Works in OD 250mm uPVC and DN 250 steel for sections above ground
